The sweetest charitable event in town Pink Desserts is coming again this year with new surprises! From September to November, customers can order Pink Desserts or designated products at participating merchants, where full of or part of the sale proceeds will go to the Hong Kong Hereditary Breast Cancer Family Registry (“The Registry”) for charitable work to finance the underserved high risk families to access free genetic testing, counseling services and preventative measures. This year, we invited Ms. Michelle Loo to be our Pink Desserts 2018 Ambassador.
The Registry Chairman Dr. Ava Kwong, TLC Ambassador Mr. Enrico Kwongpresent at the Kick-Off Ceremony today to officiate the event along with our Pink Desserts 2018 Ambassador Ms. Michelle Loo. Special thanks to our venue sponsor Kerry Hotel, Hong Kong. This year, we continued with the dessert polling session where guests and friends from the media were invited to taste the desserts specially prepared by our 18 F&B participants and give out ‘Likes’ to 2 of your favorite desserts. While all desserts won the hearts of their fans ‘The Royal Garden Fine Foods’ received the most ‘Likes’ at the end of the session was presented with the ‘My favorite Pink Dessert at Kick-Off Ceremony’ award.
To recognize This year we have prepared special treats sponsored by “Häagen-Dazs” for all guests and media representatives who come to support our event (available on a first-come first-serve basis). We would like to invite all our media partners to attend the kick-off ceremony and taste the Pink Desserts with our guests, chefs and sponsors to spread our sweet energy for the combating of hereditary cancer!
To extend our appreciation to the participating restaurants, we presented the “Top Fundraiser Award” to 3 restaurants that raised the highest amount of donation in Pink Desserts 2017. Congratulations to The Peninsula Hong Kong, Crostini and The Royal Garden. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all participating restaurants and customers to contribute to a charitable cause.
