In support of the National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Hong Kong Hereditary Breast Cancer Family Registry has been holding Pink October Charity Sale since 2016, aiming to raise fund for supporting underprivileged hereditary breast cancer patients and their high-risk family members by providing free genetic testing, counseling, breast surveillance programme and assessment of the preventive measures. We also strive to enhance the public awareness of breast cancer.
This year, the theme is “Pink October Consumption Donation”, encouraging local citizens to shop and donate. Over 30 brands from different sectors have participated in the charity sale. From October to December, citizens can purchase the designated products or services at the participating merchants, and the sales proceeds will be wholly or partially donated to THE REGISTRY in support of hereditary breast cancer patients.
