PINKRUN.HK 2019 CANCELLATION ARRANGEMENT (UPDATED VERSION)

In view of recent social movement, after deliberate consideration, the Hong Kong Hereditary Breast Cancer Family Registry (The Registry), with deepest regret, informs you about the cancellation of “Pink Run.HK 2019” and its related activities, which was scheduled to be held at Stanley Main Street on Sunday, 17 November 2019 for the safety concern.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused, and would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for all of your kind support! All raised funds will be used for supporting the underserved high-risk families by undergoing BRCA testing and genetic counselling services in the community.

In response to the cancellation, we have made the related arrangements as follows:

1. Due to the constraint on venue application, no postponed date will be arranged.

2. Fees and Donation Arrangement:

    We thank you for all of your kind support. We will respect your decision on how you wish to settle your donation. All
    participants can choose one of the following choices:

    a. Reserve and carry forward your runner quota, enrolment fee and donation to next year’s Pink Run.HK;
    b. Seek refund of your enrolment fee and donation (no running quota will be reserved for next year’s event); or
    c. Donate all enrolment fee and donation to The Registry, and not reserve any running quota for next year’s event.

    For those who registered in the name of individuals or self-formed groups, please click HERE to download the
    confirmation letter and relevant forms, and submit them by 29 November for further handling. Late submission will not be
    considered.

     For those who registered in the name of corporates, we will further contact you for the particular arrangements.

3. Souvenir Packs:

As a token of appreciation, we have reserved each participanta souvenir pack and a finisher medal. Please come to collect the souvenirs from 25-30 November at Flat 25, 8/F., Block A, Hi-Tech Industrial Centre, 5-21 Pak Tin Par Street, Tsuen Wan, N.T. (10:00-18:00, from Monday to Saturday) with your bib(s) and souvenir collection SMS/ email. You may authorize a friend or a relative to do the collection within the above-mentioned period with your bib(s), and the forwarded souvenir collection SMS/email.
