Race with Pink Heels 2012

Be in HER shoes and RACE to support BRCA patients and their families!

Organized by HK Hereditary Breast Cancer Family Registry (“THE REGISTRY”) and managed by Sportsoho, the annual charity sport event Race with Pink Heels will be held in November 2012.

This is a fundraising and educational event to raise the awareness of hereditary breast and ovarian cancer. We targeted to raise HK$300,000, to benefit the underprivileged breast & ovarian cancer patients and their families to undergo FREE genetic counseling and screening services for BRCA mutations and psychosocial support programmes for families who are found to be mutation carriers.

Time:	12:00noon (Registration)
	1:00pm – 5:00pm (Race)
Venue:	HK Stanley-Market (Stanley Main Street)

How to win the race?
Participants will wear a pair of 2 inches high heels and compete for championship at HK-Stanley Market Main Street. Depends on the selected categories, runners are encouraged to wear high heels decorated with pink accessories or simply go pink heels (for details, please refer to Race Categories and Details).

Participants who successfully registered for the Race on or before 20th September, 2012 can redeem a pair of 2-inches pink high heel shoes. First Come, First Served.

Awards
THE REGISTRY has prepared grand prizes for the event – Event Top Fundraisers (Corporate Team / Individual). Corporate Teams who have raised over HK$ 20,000 and individual participants who have raised over HK$5,000, will have chance to win our fabulous prizes!
