The Hong Kong Hereditary Breast Cancer Family
Registry welcomes donations through the Dr. Ellen Li Charitable
Foundation which supports the registry and The Hong Kong Hereditary
and High Risk Breast Cancer Programme.
Donations received would contribute
to supporting
| 1. |
the less privileged to receive genetic
testing and related services to achieve early diagnosis
and undertake preventative measures. |
| 2. |
educational and awareness programmes |
| 3. |
outreach community programmes |
| 4. |
genetic counseling personnel (first of its kind in
Hong Kong) including counselors and nurses, and the training
of such personnel |
| 5. |
analysis, management and collection of data for research
purposes to allow better understanding of our population
so that an ethnic - specific management plan can be achieved |
| 6. |
To extend this programme to benefit Asians and Chinese
in other parts of Asia including China and also those who
have migrated to Western Countries in the pamphlet |
