BReast Concern Action is the annual public educational campaign organized by the Hong Kong Hereditary Breast Cancer Family Registry with the aims to increase public awareness and knowledge about hereditary cancers through interactive games. The roving exhibitions are held in 4 different locations throughout Hong Kong.
Breast Concern Action 2019 kick off ceremony is held on the 8 May at 3pm at the Windsor, Causeway Bay. Hosted by Ms. Akina Fong, the event is joined by The Registry Chairman Prof. Ava Kwong, Voluntary Creative Director and TLC Ambassador Mr. Enrico Kwong, local illustrator LoBinTan and Event Supporter Mr. Jason Chan to officiate and support this meaningful event that raises awareness to hereditary cancers in the general public. Mr. Chan, the local pop singer and father of a 7-month old girl, shared his story with his baby girl and encouraged parents to be more health conscious. Understanding more about family history and the risk of getting hereditary cancers is the best way to protect family members and the next generation.
